This page explains how to request deletion of your account and personal data from EventureMap, operated by EventureMap, LLC.

Do I have an account?

Most people use EventureMap with no account at all — browsing the map, claiming coupons, and joining tours only ever uses your email to deliver a coupon or reward. A sign-in account exists only for business owners who manage a listing through the in-app Vendor Portal (email and one-time code).

How to request deletion

To help us locate your records, include the email address you used in the app. We may ask you to confirm the request from that same email address to protect your account.

What gets deleted

On a verified request, we delete the personal information tied to your email, including:

• Your vendor sign-in account (if you have one) and its access
• Coupons and campaign or tour records associated with your email
• Any photos you submitted through a campaign
• Your email address itself from our active systems

Facebook and Instagram data

If a business connected its Facebook Page or Instagram business or creator account to EventureMap, you can remove that connection at any time, from the Vendor Portal or from your Facebook or Instagram settings under Business Integrations. When the connection is removed, or when we receive a deletion request, we stop reading the account and delete the access token and the posts we stored from it within 30 days. Deals and events you already approved stay on your listing until you remove them.

To ask us to delete this data directly, email support@eventuremap.com with the subject line “Delete my Facebook/Instagram data.”

What may be retained

We may retain limited information where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or record-keeping purposes (for example, a record that a specific coupon was redeemed at a business), and anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you. Retained data is kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

Timeline

We process deletion requests within 30 days. We will email you to confirm once your data has been removed.
