What we collect, why we collect it, and how to get it deleted.

EventureMap is operated by TikiTram, LLC (“EventureMap”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers our websites — including eventuremap.com, the maps we publish for towns and organizations, and the deal viewer — along with the EventureMap apps for iOS and Android and the dashboards used by businesses and curators.
When you use a contact form on this site, we receive your email address, your phone number if you choose to give one, whatever you write in the message, and a note of which page you sent it from. We use it to reply to you.
If you post deals, events, or maps, we hold your name, email address, business name, and the content you publish. Sign-in is handled by our identity provider; we never see your password.
With your permission, your device’s location is used to find the EventureMaps nearest you and, for some redemptions, to confirm you are at the business. It is used at the moment of the request. We do not track location in the background and we do not build a movement history.
The app generates a random identifier on your device so it can remember your progress in a campaign without making you create an account. It is not tied to your name or your email.
Some campaigns let you upload a photo — a receipt, or a photo challenge. Photos are used to check that campaign activity, which includes automated image analysis, and for nothing else.
Our own analytics records the page you viewed, the page that referred you, your screen size, your browser language, any campaign or UTM tags in the link you followed, and how long the page was open. It uses no cookies and no fingerprinting. A random session identifier is kept in your browser’s session storage and disappears when you close the tab. We cannot identify you from it.
Our hosting and server logs record technical information, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Some of our pages also load Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies and gives us aggregate traffic figures — how many people visited, which pages they read, roughly where they came from. You can opt out of it with Google’s browser add-on. We do not run advertising on this site, and no ad network is loaded on any page.
When you redeem a coupon or a campaign reward at a business, that business can see the redemption, and the email address used to claim it where that is needed to honor the offer.
We use service providers to run the service, and they see only what they need to do their job: Amazon Web Services for hosting, storage, and email delivery; our identity provider for account sign-in; AI providers for automated image and content processing; Google for website analytics as described above; and, when we begin taking payments online, a payment processor that handles card details directly so that we never hold them.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users, the public, or us.
We send email you asked for — a coupon, a reward, a reply — and occasional updates to businesses and curators who work with us. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not stop the coupons or rewards you requested. Our mailing address is at the bottom of this page.
Coupon and campaign records are kept as long as the promotion needs them and for reasonable record-keeping afterward. Account information is kept while the account is open. Analytics records are kept in aggregate.
Email support@eventuremap.com at any time to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and we will remove the personal information associated with your email address. We do not charge for this and we do not treat you differently for asking.
EventureMap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email support@eventuremap.com and we will delete it.
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and managed cloud infrastructure to protect what we hold. No service can promise perfect security, and we will tell affected users promptly if something goes wrong.
We update this policy from time to time. The date at the top is the latest revision, and material changes will be noted in the app or on this site.
