Good Hops Brewing is a woman owned brewery in Carolina Beach, NC by Samantha Malkmus. Sam is local born and raised with a eagerness to continue learning about the beer industry, support the community, and brew the best quality beer this side of the Atlantic or at least this side of the bridge. Sam is married to Robert Malkmus and they have 3 radical boys together. You can find the whole family at the brewery working and hanging out on most days.

Pleasure Island Bike Fest

A Cycle-Celebration! All types of bikes welcome, all levels of cyclist! This event includes club rides, adaptive rides, Ebike Tours and a festival market with bike-centric vendors, merchandise, raffles, food trucks and more. This event will benefit 3Wheel Therapy, a non-profit organization that utilizes adaptive tricycles to provide free rides to anyone unable to ride a traditional bicycle independently.
